During the winter season, I love to play around with layering, especially with pieces that aren't your typical sweater and collard blouse combination. This past weekend, we experienced a slight warmth in DC so I took advantage of this opportunity to pull out a dress since I've kept them in hiding since the cold front began. Although it was a little warmer out, the weather still wasn't suitable to be able to simply wear the dress so I decided to layer it up with a basic white turtleneck and over the knee boots which were accompanied by high socks. It was great because while this outfit kept me warm and was still stylish. Also just to point out these boots, they're definitely one of my favorite winter buys. I struggle finding the perfect thigh high boots for someone of my height and size but these Zara boots were exactly what I needed, so if your like me I would definitely check out their selection next winter.
