Now speed forward to my current life. Since graduation, I've moved to NY and officially started my career. It's still surreal to me that my undergraduate career has come to an end and that I'm now in this new phase of my life. This is a time in my life that is full of so many emotions. I'm soo excited to have began this new journey and feel so blessed to have this amazing opportunity but at the same time there are also feelings of sadness as I left DC and the normal comfort of having my best friends always around me. As Holden Desalles said, "Your 20s are not by default the only time in your life that you can pick
up and go, or that you can try out different careers. The space where
comfort and risk come together is a space where learning and growing are
most likely to happen. If you get set in your ways and become
unsatisfied but comfortable, you’ll never learn anything different
unless you’re willing to put yourself in a scary position." I can't wait to see what this new stage of life will bring and I plan to continue to showcase what is going on in my life through my blog. I hope to be able to get back into the swing of posting regularly for you all but it may take time so please be patient with me and definitely let me know if there's anything you want me to include in an upcoming post!
Until Next Time,
