Baby it's warm outside

So it is December 24 and currently above 60 degrees in NY - how crazy is that?! It doesn't feel like the holiday season at all to me because of the weather, but the beautiful light displays that can be seen throughout NYC definitely do serve as a little reminder that it's that special time of year. Christmas time is honestly my favorite time of year. Everyone is so full of cheer, the city is decorated with beautiful lights and ornate displays, and I am able to spend time with my family! This is my first holiday season as a full time working woman so unfortunately I wont be spending as much time at home as I normally would like to, but nonetheless i'm still excited to have the short time to spend with my family in friends back home in MI.

One of the reasons that I'm sad that its so warm out is that I actually bought some cool winter clothing! One piece that I love is this Original Barney's faux fur jacket from ASOS. I got to sport it on this particular day because we faced one cold day in NY so my friend Jaenique and I ran out to take just a couple pics as it was actually too cold to have a photo shoot especially being by the water. I surely hope that this warm weather now doesn't mean we'll still be facing the cold weather in April! The new year is also approaching and for me that means revamping my style just a little bit. As I get older, I think your style naturally reforms and evolves with age so there is definitely some things that I would like to change as another new year and birthday approaches. Does anyone have any cool new years resolutions?
