Unlike many people who watch award
shows to see who will win each award, I typically watch just to see what
everyone will wear and this years Golden Globes were no different. There are
always those celebrities that you wonder, what were they thinking!? when you
see them on the red carpet, but I want to highlight some of my favorite
ensembles of the night. I love seeing the celebrities that you always expect to kill it such as Jennifer Lopez shine on the red carpet. So here it goes, my favorite looks of the 2015 Golden
Globes in no particular order. Hope you enjoy!
1. Jennifer Lopez is always
dressed to kill and at the Golden Globes was no different sporting this deep
plunging Zuhair Murad dress. The color and cut of this dress make it absolutely
perfect for her and I'm sure most can agree that Jennifer Lopez just keeps
getting better with time.
2. Zuhair Murad definitely
played a major role in styling some of the best dressed this year which can be
see from both JLO and Chrissy Teigen in this beautiful gown. She and
husband John Legend looked great this year at the awards.
3. Yellow gowns were making a
major statement this year at the Golden Globes and Jenna Dewan Tatum did
not disappoint in Carolina Herrera long yellow gown. Classic, elegant, and a
beautiful color on her make this look one of the best.
4. Sometimes classic
silhouettes in the form of gowns are hard to pull off but Diane Kruger
did this beautifully in an Emilia Wickstead long grey gown. Tailored perfectly
with an elegant touch of both hair and accessories landed Diane on this years
best dressed list.
5. Michelle Monaghan looked
great in this Jason Wu gown! Dresses such as this can definitely be very
unforgiving but this slip style gown definitely was made for a body like
Michelle's and looks great on her!
6. Jessica Chastain takes the
idea of a beautiful Grecian gown to the perfect level in this in Atelier
Versace bronze color gown. This dress paired with her wavy hair and simply yet
elegant accessories were the perfect look for the red carpet!
7. Everyone was wondering what
one person was going to wear to the awards and that was Amal Clooney and
she did not disappoint! Although she did not disclose the designer of her gown,
Amal looks effortlessly flawless on the red carpet combining elegance and sophistication
to make a great look!
8. One thing I am pretty obsessed
with is right now is men's fashion and Matt Bomber was definitely one of
my favorites of the night in Ralph Lauren Black Label suit. The tailoring, cut,
and color all come together and look perfect for the night.
9. Last but certainly not least, the Selma star David Oyelowo look
great in this Dolce Gabbana suit! I can’t pinpoint what my favorite part of
this look is but I think it was a great choice for the awards!
