Happy New Year everyone! It's a cold week here in Michigan. I surprisingly made it through most of my time at home without experiencing the normal snow that covers Michigan until it began yesterday. I'm only home for a few more days so I definitely have to make the most of them, but I'm looking forward to heading back to DC where the temperature is significantly higher. I'm sorry that I haven't posted in the past week, I had oral surgery which put me out of commission last week but now I'm back in action. This new year is going to bring a lot of new things into my life that you all can look forward to learning about through my blog but I'm so happy to be able to see another year. It's January which also means my birthday is soon, yay! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season.
